Dina's update - July!
Dear Cavater - dingo club runners, members and pals,
The excitement of being given our own web page by Denise, Bill and Mandy at Mary St and sharing my post Gold Coast Marathon training week with other great Cavater - dingos is just amazing! Carl has busy with his heritage cottage Golf Til U drop Inn that we have do our training on the highway north of Gympie where Bill and Denise toot their horn on their way to work each morning. I have great fun getting to find road-kill rabbits, ducks and possums along the way!
Gympie at dawn is so lovely and I drag Carl out of his sleeping bag to trot for an hour every day. It is important for me to try to keep my old pal (70) fit for our World Run Record attempt, even if he is a bit slow.

It is nice to be sharing my young years with an old dingo swagman. We have good fun fighting over my road kill possum skin at the inn and I love our golf mates who let me take their golf balls home from No. 18 green! Carl is building me a nice enclosure for rest periods after I run away for a cheeky escape from his cottage, to the golf course!
We have an exciting day coming up at Pomona in Queensland for the King of the Mountain Race up Mt Cooroora and we get to see our good friend Judy Topper and visit my shogun 'Stan'. I will let you know how my friend Carl goes in the oldies division times.
Keep happy and run your Pals at Pets and Pals day on August 21st in the Gympie Pre-Muster Park.
Lots of love and bites,
