Hello again everyone!

Well the quiet life is over as old (not) fuzzy face came home from the Chicago Marathon and 500km's practice to Pittsburgh. I couldn't go with him on the short trip but Mum took me for lots of walks - different to when my Dad lets me drag him along as we train!

I had some bad news to greet my old Carl with when he returned from Chicago - I am having my first season. Not that this is a bad thing, but the timing is terrible. While I am in heat Carl is not allowed to take me on the plane to Athens for our Marathon in memory of Pheidippedes! That is the marathon to mark the 2500th anniversary (October 31st 2010), of the very first marathon. After all my training imagine missing the totally exhilarating run, especially my Dad's favourite marathon! He has done it six times and he thinks it is the only "real" marathon.

Oh well at least I get to run down the East Coast from Brisbane to Melbourne that has been rescheduled for February 2011. My old fuzz face is flying to Athens today, Friday the 29th to complete his long time dream "THE ONLY MARATHON"! Hopefully I will get my chance to travel in 2011.
