RED OSCAR
Red OscarOscars have an aggressive nature, but given plenty of room and some rocks or driftwood for other fish to hide amongst, they will happily share a tank with American cichlids of similar size. Heavy feeders, Oscars prefer bulky foods such as pellets or live fish and usually grow to 20-30cm. Originally native to South America, a number of different aquarium strains exist, including the Red Oscar.

Green Variatus PlatyThe Hawaiian variatus platy is a tuxedo green variatus platy and is quite striking with black markings on the top of a green body and a red or yellow tail. As with many variatus platys, the colour is quite variable.
